Product information from your integration system (WMS, ERP, E-Commerce platform or similar) needs to be synced over to Pio. Any product operation done in the external system needs to be reflected in PIO. Creating, updating or deleting products.
When deleting a product in your external system, you also need to consider the stock level of this product in Pio. If there is stock on a product in pio that you want to delete, it is recommended that you remove this stock in pio before deleting the product from pio. If the product does not have stock, you can go right ahead and delete the product from Pio.
A product in Pio must have a unique SKU
To identify a product in Pio, the product needs to have a unique SKU. If it already has one in you external system, this can be used in Pio when creating the product. If you do not have a unique SKU, you need to create one based on information you have available in your external system. One example of this could be to concatenate the product ID with a varient ID.
